Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers CD1 Mouse Splenocytes for a wide variety of immunology-based applications.
Description
CD1 mouse splenocytes are a type of immune cell found in the spleen of a CD1 mouse. These cells play a key role in the immune system, helping to detect and respond to foreign invaders such as bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens. CD1 mouse splenocytes express specific surface markers, including CD1, which help to identify them as a distinct subset of immune cells.
Species character
The CD1 mouse is a commonly-used outbred strain for general multipurpose studies, but has also been extensively studied in oncology, toxicology, aging, and immunology.
Background
A splenocyte can be any one of the different white blood cell types as long as it is situated in the spleen or purified from splenic tissue. Splenocytes consist of a variety of cell populations such as T and B lymphocytes, dendritic cells and macrophages, which have different immune functions.
