Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers CHO-Tg(Human CD2) stable cell line which the CD2 gene stably expressed in CHO cells.
Description
CHO-Tg(Human CD2) stable cell line is a cell line derived from CHO (Chinese hamster ovary) cells that have been genetically engineered to express human CD2 protein. CD2 is a cell surface glycoprotein that is involved in T cell activation and adhesion. The stable cell line has been selected and maintained to ensure consistent expression of the human CD2 protein over multiple cell passages. This allows for reliable and reproducible production of the protein for various research and biopharmaceutical applications. The CHO-Tg(Human CD2) stable cell line can be used for studying the function of CD2 in T cell biology, as well as for producing recombinant CD2 protein for therapeutic purposes.

Background
CD2 is a type of cluster of differentiation marker, which is a classification system for cell surface molecules on white blood cells. CD2 is a glycoprotein found on the surface of T cells, natural killer cells, and some B cells. It plays a role in cell adhesion and interactions between immune cells. Abnormalities in CD2 expression can be associated with certain autoimmune diseases and lymphomas.
