Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers EBV-Specific T cells for immunity reaserch.
Description
EBV-specific T cells are a type of immune cells that are specifically designed to target and attack cells infected with the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV). These T cells are important in the body's immune response to EBV, a common virus that can cause infectious mononucleosis and is also associated with certain types of cancer. EBV-specific T cells are able to recognize and eliminate EBV-infected cells, helping to control the infection and prevent its spread.
Background
EBV-specific T cells are a type of immune cell that specifically targets and attacks cells infected with the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV). These T cells recognize viral antigens presented on the surface of infected cells and are able to eliminate them, effectively controlling the viral infection. EBV-specific T cells play a crucial role in the immune response to EBV, which is a common virus that infects the majority of the population worldwide. Without adequate T cell response, EBV can cause illnesses such as infectious mononucleosis and has been linked to the development of certain cancers, including Hodgkin's lymphoma and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
