Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers HSV-Specific T cells for immunity reaserch.
Description
HSV-specific T cells are a type of immune cell that specifically targets and responds to the herpes simplex virus (HSV). These T cells are able to recognize proteins or antigens on the surface of infected cells, enabling them to selectively attack and destroy cells that are harboring the virus.
Background
HSV-specific T cells are T cells that are able to recognize and target cells infected with the herpes simplex virus (HSV). These specialized T cells are part of the immune system's response to HSV infection and play a key role in controlling and clearing the virus from the body. HSV-specific T cells are typically generated during an initial HSV infection and are able to remember the virus so that they can quickly respond to future HSV infections. These T cells are able to recognize specific viral proteins, called antigens, that are unique to HSV and play a crucial role in the immune response to the virus. In individuals with a healthy immune system, HSV-specific T cells are able to effectively control and eliminate the virus, leading to the resolution of symptoms and the establishment of long-term immunity. However, in some cases, such as in individuals with weakened immune systems, HSV-specific T cells may not be as effective in controlling the virus, leading to recurrent or persistent infections.
