Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers Human CD4+//CD45RA+ Naïve T Cells, Cord Blood for immunity reaserch.
Description
Human CD4+//CD45RA+ Naïve T Cells are a subset of T cells that have not encountered antigens and are ready to differentiate into various effector T cell types upon activation. These cells are characterized by the expression of CD4 and CD45RA surface markers.
Background
CD4+ cells, also known as T-helper cells, are a type of white blood cell that play a critical role in the functioning of the immune system. These cells are responsible for coordinating the immune response by activating and directing other immune cells to defend against pathogens such as bacteria, viruses, and other foreign invaders. CD4+ cells also play a key role in adaptive immunity, a specific immune response that develops after exposure to a pathogen to provide long-lasting protection against future infections. In individuals with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), the virus specifically targets and infects CD4+ cells, leading to a weakening of the immune system and increased susceptibility to infections.
