Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers Human Treg Cells, Natural for studying the function of Tregs in an in vivo assays.
Description
Natural Tregs (nTregs) are a subset of Tregs that are derived from the thymus during T cell development. They express high levels of the transcription factor Foxp3, which is essential for their suppressive function. nTregs are thought to primarily suppress immune responses to self-antigens and help prevent autoimmunity.
Background
Regulatory T cells (Tregs) are a type of immune cell that plays a key role in preventing excessive immune responses and maintaining immune tolerance. Natural Tregs are a subset of Tregs that develop in the thymus, where they are educated to recognize self-antigens and prevent immune attacks against the body's own tissues. Human Treg cells have been the subject of intense research in recent years due to their potential therapeutic applications in various autoimmune diseases, transplant rejection, and cancer. These cells have the ability to suppress the activity of other immune cells, such as T cells and dendritic cells, thereby dampening the immune response and preventing inflammation and tissue damage.
