Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers Jurkat-Tg(Human TMIGD2)-NFAT Luc reporter cell line which the TMIGD2 gene stably expressed in NFAT Luc reporter Jurkat cells.
Description
Jurkat-Tg(Human TMIGD2)-NFAT Luc reporter cell line is a cell line that expresses the luciferase reporter gene under the control of the NFAT response element, and also stably expresses the human TMIGD2 gene. TMIGD2 is a transmembrane and immunoglobulin domain-containing protein that is involved in immune cell function. This cell line can be used to study the activity of the NFAT pathway in response to TMIGD2 signaling, and can be a valuable tool for investigating the role of TMIGD2 in immune cell function and signaling.

Background
The TMIGD2 gene, also known as Transmembrane and Immunoglobulin Domain Containing 2, is a protein coding gene located on human chromosome 7. This gene encodes a type I transmembrane protein that is part of the immunoglobulin superfamily. It is thought to play a role in mediating cell adhesion and signaling in immune responses. Mutations in the TMIGD2 gene have been associated with autoimmune diseases and may influence the susceptibility to certain immune disorders. Research on this gene is ongoing to better understand its function and potential therapeutic applications.
