Engineering Gastric Cancer Cell SNU-216 for Self-destruction
The SNU-16, a cell line exhibiting epithelial morphology, was isolated in 1987 from ascites derived from a 33-year-old, female, Asian, stomach cancer patient prior to chemotherapy. It has been used in cancer research. Creative Biolabs offers state-of-the-art services for engineering the gastric cancer cell SNU-216 for self-destruction that meet your specific tumor research needs. Besides, we also offer immune reactivity assessment services and toxicity assessment services after engineering.
Gastric Cancer Cell SNU-216
SNU gastric carcinoma cell lines are among the most popular in use today. There are 11 gastric carcinoma cell lines, including SNU-1, SNU-5, SNU-16, SNU-216, SNU-484, SNU-520, SNU-601, SNU-620, SNU-638, SNU-668, and SNU-719 cell lines, have been established and reported. These cell lines have been used in various research fields including anticancer drug screening, multidrug resistance, the establishment and characterization of anticancer drug-resistant gastric cancer cell lines, gene amplification, TGF-β signaling pathway and in other studies.

Engineering Gastric Cancer Cell SNU-216 for Self-destruction
Creative Biolabs provides the complete set of services that exploit and manipulate SNU-216 cell lines to promote anti-gastric cancer immunity. Self-destruction means the strategy which transfects overexpressed cytokines into cancer cells by different technologies, thereby achieving the purpose of engineering SNU-216 cells. This method does not directly stimulate the SNU-216 cell line, thereby avoiding the risk of increasing SNU-216 cell-dependent metastases. Besides, Creative Biolabs also offers Immune Reactivity Assessment services and Toxicity Assessment services after engineering.
