Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers Human CD8+//CD45RA+ Naïve T Cells for immunity reaserch.
Description
CD8+//CD45RA+ naïve T cells, also known as naïve cytotoxic T cells, are a subset of T cells in the immune system that have not been exposed to antigens and are in a resting state. These cells express the glycoprotein CD8 on their cell surface, which allows them to recognize and bind to antigens presented by major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I molecules on infected or abnormal cells. Naïve CD8+//CD45RA+ T cells play a critical role in the adaptive immune response by providing a pool of antigen-specific cytotoxic T cells that can respond rapidly to pathogens and provide long-lasting immunity.
Background
CD8+ cells, also known as cytotoxic T cells, are a type of white blood cell that play a critical role in the immune system's response to infections and cancer. These cells are responsible for recognizing and destroying infected or abnormal cells in the body. CD8+ cells are able to recognize specific antigens on the surface of target cells, leading to the release of toxic molecules that induce cell death. This process helps to eliminate infected cells and prevent the spread of pathogens. In addition to their role in fighting infections, CD8+ cells also play a key role in the immune response to cancer. By targeting and destroying cancerous cells, these cells help to prevent the development and progression of tumors.
