Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers Human M1 Macrophages for immunity reaserch.
Description
M1 macrophages are a type of immune cell that play a key role in the inflammatory response. They are classically activated by signals such as interferon-gamma or lipopolysaccharide, leading to the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and the promotion of inflammation. M1 macrophages are also involved in phagocytosis of pathogens and infected cells, helping to clear the body of harmful invaders.
Background
Macrophages are tissue-resident or infiltrated immune cells critical for innate immunity, normal tissue development, homeostasis, and repair of damaged tissue. Macrophages are classified into pro-inflammatory (M1), non-activated (M0) or anti-inflammatory (M2) subsets that play distinct roles in the initiation and resolution of inflammation.
