- RFP plays a significant role in cell biology and biotechnology. We generate the RFP-expressing monkey primary coronary artery endothelial cells from the normal coronary artery of cynomolgus monkeys by the transfection process with RFP-lentiviral particles in a standard cleanroom. These cells are isolated from tissue samples and then grow in a gelatin-pre-coated tissue culture flask until passage 3. Next, they can be collected into vials for frozen storage.
