Rhesus Monkey Tongue Total RNA (NHP-RA069)
Category:Non-Human Primate (NHP) RNA Products
Tag: Rhesus Monkey, RNA
Tag: Rhesus Monkey, RNA
- RNA is a type of nucleic acid that play a series of important roles, for example, coding, decoding, regulation, and expression of genes. The total RNA product of Creative Biolabs is prepared from rhesus monkeys' normal tongue by using the classical extraction method which guarantees the rapid isolation of total RNA including microRNAs. The RNA sample is excluded from residual DNA after being treated with RNase-free DNase-1 and can be used as a helpful tool in a quantity of scientific research.
Detailed Product Description
- Organ/Tissue: Tongue
- Applications: Northern blotting, ribonuclease protection assay, SI nuclease assay, RT-PCR/Q-PCR/RACE analysis, cDNA synthesis, RNA differential display, microRNA studies, and purification of mRNA
Technical Specifications
- Species: Rhesus monkey
- Donor Status: Healthy
- Quality Control: The integrity of each RNA sample is verified by denatured agarose gel electrophoresis, which assesses the presence of intact ribosomal RNA. The purity of the RNA is evaluated using a spectrophotometer, specifically measuring the A260/A280 ratio within the range of 1.9-2.1. Additionally, PCR is utilized to test for any residual DNA contamination.
- Storage: Short term storage at -20°C; long term storage at -80°C.
