Short Decsription
Creative Biolabs offers Human CD4+//CD45RO+ Naïve T Cells for immunity reaserch.
Description
Human CD4+//CD45RO+ naïve T cells are a subset of T cells that express both the CD4 marker and the CD45RO marker, indicating their activation status and memory phenotype. CD4+//CD45RO+ naïve T cells play a critical role in the adaptive immune response by recognizing foreign antigens presented by antigen-presenting cells and initiating the appropriate immune response. They can differentiate into various effector cell types depending on the signals they receive during antigen presentation, such as helper T cells, regulatory T cells, or cytotoxic T cells.
Background
CD4+ cells, also known as T-helper cells, are a type of white blood cell that play a critical role in the functioning of the immune system. These cells are responsible for coordinating the immune response by activating and directing other immune cells to defend against pathogens such as bacteria, viruses, and other foreign invaders. CD4+ cells also play a key role in adaptive immunity, a specific immune response that develops after exposure to a pathogen to provide long-lasting protection against future infections. In individuals with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), the virus specifically targets and infects CD4+ cells, leading to a weakening of the immune system and increased susceptibility to infections.
