- Soybean trypsin inhibitor, animal component-free (ACF) is developed from cultures free of animal-derived materials and can show a slight inhibitory effect to chymotrypsin, but is ineffective against proteolytic, or elastolytic activities of porcine elastase. This inhibitor can be used in multiple human and animal species.
