Anti-ER-a36 (clone SNGmBI)-MB-VC-duocarmycin ADC (CAT#: ADC-W-207)

This ADC product is comprised of an anti-ER-a36 monoclonal antibody (clone SNGmB) conjugated via a MB-VC linker to duocarmycin. The duocarmycin is targeted to certain cancers by immunerecognition and delivered into cancer cells via receptor mediated endocytosis. Within the cell, duocarmycin binds to DNA, causes DNA damage.

  • This gene is a 36 kDa variant of hER-a, it lacks the N-terminal AF-1 domain and the C-terminal AF-2 domain of hER-a. hER-a is one of the two types of estrogen receptors discovered in human cells (hERs). hERs encodes an estrogen receptor, a ligand-activated transcription factor composed of several domains important for hormone binding, DNA binding, and activation of transcription.
