As a leading in vitro diagnostic (IVD) antibody development service provider, Creative Biolabs is capable of offering high-quality customized development services of IVD antibodies against DJ-1/PARK7 marker of bladder cancer. With years of experience and cutting-edge technology, we are confident in satisfying every customer's requirements.

DJ-1/PARK7 Marker

Protein deglycase DJ-1, also known as Parkinson disease protein 7 (PARK7), is a protein encoded by the PARK7 gene which is located on the distal part of the short arm of chromosome 1. With a conserved sequence, DJ-1 protein is ubiquitously expressed in over 22 human tissues. Importantly, it is recognized as a multifunctional protein that has been implicated in various aspects of biological processes, including transcriptional regulation, antioxidant stress function, mitochondrial regulation, fertilization, and tumor TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (trial)-induced apoptosis. In addition, DJ-1 has correlation with numerous aspects of transformation, such as uncontrolled proliferation, invasion, metastasis, and resistance to chemotherapy.

DJ-1 is a Swiss army knife-like protein with diverse functions and plays multiple essential roles in human health and disease states. (Sun, et al., 2023)Fig.1 DJ-1 plays multiple essential roles in human health and disease states.1

DJ-1 Marker of Bladder Cancer

DJ-1 is a cancer-associated protein as it is involved in different kinds of intracellular signaling pathways. In addition to improving tumor cell survival by modulating the Akt/PI3K axis, it is also capable of inhibiting apoptosis through repression of the p53-Bax-caspase pathway and stabilizing the antioxidant transcriptional master regulator Nrf2. Studies have suggested that it can be used as a novel marker for the detection of different kinds of cancers, including breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer and so on. Furthermore, DJ-1 is overexpressed in urothelial carcinoma (a common type of bladder cancer) and it is positively correlated with the pathological stage. In this case, DJ-1 has been served as the great biomarker and potential therapeutic target for bladder cancer.

IVD Antibody Development Services Targeting DJ-1 Marker

In recent years, IVDs are undergoing rapid progress all over the world. IVD antibodies, due to their crucial role in the detection of analytes in biological samples, have been widely discovered to develop immunodiagnostic kits for disease screening and diagnosis. Creative Biolabs now offers high-quality IVD antibody, immunoassay, and kit development services. With our versatile IVD platform, we can develop novel DJ-1-specific (paired) antibodies from scratch to commercial IVD kit. We can start with available antibodies provided by our clients as well.

Our scientists are pleased to customize high-affinity IVD antibodies for DJ-1 marker to contribute greatly to the success of your projects. If you are interested in our services, please feel free to contact us for more information and get a quote.
