PathSpecific™ Human Cathepsin C ELISA Kit, Colorimetric (CAT#: ZL-1122-WR14)

Overview
DescriptionThe kit is designed to quantitatively measure the cathepsin C activity in cell culture supernatant, plasma, heparinized plasma, and serum samples.
FeaturesReady-used for enzyme activity assay.
ApplicationsKit is used to study the Cathepsin C protease in biological samples.
Application NotesThe kit is a quantitative assay used to measure the levels of Human Cathepsin C in serum and plasma samples, providing valuable insights into its activity and potential implications in various diseases.
Molecular Mechanism of ActionThis assay detects human Cathepsin C using a specific antibody coated on a 96-well plate. Samples are added to the wells, and Cathepsin C present in the sample binds to the immobilized antibody. After washing away unbound components, a biotinylated anti-Human Cathepsin C antibody is added. Following another wash, an HRP-conjugated streptavidin is added. After another wash, a TMB substrate is added and the intensity of the resulting color is measured at 450 nm.
