Magic™ Large-scale Cell-free Protein Expression in Wheat Germ lysate for GST-tagged Protein Labeling Reaction Kit is a cell-free protein synthesis system using wheat germ extracts. All amino acids from the wheat germ extract were removed essentially. Reaction buffer is amino acid free thus the user can control amino acids in their expression experiment. The user must purchase amino acids separately to conduct protein expression experiments. The lysate removed wheat proteins that would otherwise bind to glutathione during the purification step.
