Introduction | Complement C4 is a major histocompatibility complex class-III protein. It is non-enzymatic component of C3 and C5 convertases and thus essential for the propagation of the classical complement pathway. Covalently binds to immunoglobulins and immune complexes and enhances the solubilization of immune aggregates and the clearance of IC through CR1 on erythrocytes. Catalyzes the transacylation of the thioester carbonyl group to form ester bonds with carbohydrate antigens. |
The kit was incredibly user-friendlyExcellentThe instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the kit provided consistent results. The chemiluminescent detection method enhanced the sensitivity of our assays, allowing us to detect even low levels of C4 in our samples.
The included reagents were top-notch, and we experienced no issues with variabilityExcellentThe chemiluminescent readout was highly sensitive and provided precise quantification of C4 in our serum samples. The kit's components were well-packaged and of high quality. We achieved reproducible results across multiple experiments, making this our go-to kit for complement C4 measurements.
We will definitely reorderExcellentI've been using various ELISA kits for years, but the human complement C4 ELISA kit stands out. The chemiluminescent readout was exceptionally clear, and the assay sensitivity was remarkable. The protocol was easy to follow, and I appreciated the thorough documentation provided.
