We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead the expansion of our business in the biotechnology sectors. This role is ideal for an individual with deep industry knowledge, a strong network, and a passion for driving business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and increasing the company’s visibility across global markets.

Essential Responsibilities
Strategic Business Development
Identify, engage, and cultivate new business opportunities in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors, with a focus on key accounts and large-scale clients.
Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to increase revenue and market share, including both product and service offerings.
Create and maintain relationships with decision-makers in key target organizations.
Market Expansion & Lead Generation
Leverage market research and industry knowledge to identify new markets and business opportunities both domestically and internationally.
Lead efforts to prospect and qualify new leads through a variety of channels, including networking, referrals, cold outreach, and inbound marketing.
Expand the company’s presence in emerging markets and target geographies to drive growth.
Industry Engagement & Conference Participation
Attend, speak at, and network at industry conferences, seminars, and trade shows across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, staying ahead of industry trends and competitor activities.
Represent the company at high-profile events, presenting products, services, and case studies that demonstrate the value proposition to potential clients.
Social Media and Digital Presence
Oversee the creation and execution of social media strategies, including managing LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant platforms to engage with prospects and clients.
Regularly update and curate content that highlights the company’s products, services, and industry expertise, helping to grow the company’s online presence and attract new leads.
Collaborate with marketing teams to align digital marketing efforts with business development strategies.
Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field (Biology, Life Sciences, or similar).
A minimum of 5+ years of proven business development experience within the biotechnology, or life sciences industry.
Established network of contacts within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors, with the ability to generate and convert leads into long-term clients.
Demonstrated success in sales or business development, with a history of achieving and exceeding targets.
Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, including trends, regulations, and market challenges.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with C-suite executives and other key stakeholders.
Willingness to travel frequently for conferences, client meetings, and other business development activities.
