Creative Biolabs is committed to accelerating the discovery, research, development, and biomanufacturing of immune therapies. We are hiring a preclinical R&D strategy expert of CAR-T therapy, who will be responsible for managing and coordinating our internal and external preclinical drug discovery efforts, and for partnering with other members of the leadership team to leverage our immune cell-based therapy platforms, and build and grow the company’s therapeutic portfolio.
Essential Responsibilities
Build, lead, manage and mentor a team of scientists and infrastructures to support preclinical discovery across a portfolio of projects on immune cell-based therapies.
Guide and lead the teams to execute plans to deliver novel targets for drug discovery into the early-stage portfolio.
Establish and maintain functionally integrated project schedules to enable accurate project analyses, identification of critical path activities and resource constraints.
Lead, facilitate, and document project team meetings, cross-functional communication and decision making, ensuring alignment with internal functional groups and leadership.
Oversee project management activities and scenario planning, identify and manage project objectives, work plans, timelines, and budgets, provide formal and informal status updates to stakeholders as needed.
Interface with senior management on project requirements, status review, and key development decisions.
Contribute to preclinical strategy, vision, and operation.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
Advanced degree in Synthetic Biology, Cell Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Systems Biology, Immunology, Oncology, or related fields.
Deep knowledge of, and demonstrated experience in leading/advancing discovery projects to the clinic as part of a multidisciplinary team.
5+ years of industry experience in immune therapy from design to preclinical testing.
A passion for discovering new therapies to address severe life-limiting diseases with significant unmet needs.
Extensive experience in establishing and managing successful relationships with internal and external collaborators.
