Exosome Surface Modification Kits

Exosomes are rich in proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids, which play an important role in intercellular communication and are closely related to the occurrence, development, treatment and prognosis of many diseases. The innate ability of exosomes to affect the phenotype of recipient cells by delivering naturally-incorporated cargo has inspired the field of drug delivery. Although there have been some successes in the use of exosomes to deliver drugs, there is increasing evidence that surface targeting moieties must be present for effective delivery.

The coupling of the targeting ligand to the surface of exosomes may cause specific interactions between exosomes and target cells.
