Solute carrier family 10 (SLC10), also known as sodium bile acid cotransporter family, contains over 50 members that have the ability to transport bile acids, sulfated solutes, and other xenobiotics in a sodium-dependent manner. Members of the SLC10 family are predicted to have seven transmembrane domains with an extracellular N-terminus and cytoplasmic C-terminus. During the past years, four members of the SLC10 family have been extensively studied and referred to as SLC10A1, SLC10A4, SLC10A6, and SLC10A7. Studies have shown that these carriers are essentially involved in the maintenance of the enterohepatic circulation of bile acids mediating the first step of active bile acid transport through the membrane barriers in the liver (NTCP) and intestine (ASBT).
Here, we have described in detail of members of the solute carrier family 10, including SLC10A1, SLC10A4, SLC10A6, and SLC10A7. To learn more detailed information, please click the links below.
With the help of our advanced Magic™ membrane protein production platform, Creative Biolabs is committed to offering various target membrane protein products in required formats using various strategies, such as detergent micelles, proteoliposomes, nanodiscs, lipoparticles, polymers, stable cell line.
Furthermore, our Magic™ membrane protein antibody discovery platform can help to discover antibodies against these targets, even fully humanized antibodies, by various approaches such as hybridoma technology, phage display technology. We also present DNA immunization service for anti-membrane protein antibody development. To get more detailed information, please feel free to contact us.
