We are committed to the researches of NAA and neurological diseases to benefit human healthy researches. Our objective is to provide the best and professional solutions and services to our customers throughout the world.

What Are Neurological Diseases?

Neurological diseases are a kind of disorders of the brain, spinal cord or other structural nerves, including biochemistry or electrical abnormalities. These symptoms are characterized by the premature and selective aging of nerve cells in the brain, leading to cognitive and physical impairments, including the death of neurons.

There are hundreds of millions of people throughout the world are suffering from neurological diseases. Though our brain and spinal cord or nerves are protected by tough membranes, bones, and the chemical blood-brain barrier, they are very vulnerable and susceptible to be affected and infected. The causes of neurological diseases are diverse:

Natural Autoantibodies and Neurological Diseases

As an essential part of the immune system, natural autoantibodies (NAA) are autoreactive antibodies originated from CD5+ B1 cells in the absence of external antigen stimulation. NAA are encoded by Ig genes and can be detected in the sera of healthy humans and animals. NAA mostly are antibodies of the immunoglobulin IgM isotype with polyreactive, low-titer, low antigen-binding affinities, which play a critical role in the maintenance of homeostasis. Increasing studies demonstrated that NAA are closely related to neurological diseases. NAA have been used as measurements or biomarkers for diagnosing well-established autoimmune disorders of the nervous system, as well as for the investigation of other several less well-characterized diseases.
