Published Data

A murine anti-idiotype vaccine targeting NeuGcGM3 found in cancers like melanoma and breast cancer, was evaluated for its immunogenic profile in Leghorn chickens, a non-clinical model. Administered subcutaneously with alum-adsorbed formulation, it induced strong antibody responses even at low doses of 25 µg. Consistent with earlier findings using Freund's adjuvant, anti-idiotype vaccine targeting NeuGcGM3 adsorbed with alum elicited a response specific to the idiotype in every immunized bird, while generating ganglioside-specific antibodies in 60–100% of the subjects.
