Bulk Antibody Production Services

Background Our Services Deliverables Published Data Features

Over the past years, Creative Biolabs has built up an efficient, cost-effective system of manufacturing monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) on a contract basis. There are two types of custom mAb production, in vivo (typically in BALB/c mice), and in vitro (using bioreactors). The price can be based on any one of the following:

Background

The demand for monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) for research, therapeutic, or diagnostic uses has been continuously rising during the past decades. The need for bulk production of effective, safe, and affordable mAbs at a large scale has advanced the development of strategies. Commercially, mAbs are produced by in vivo and in vitro technology. The former relies on experimental animals, while the latter involves small-scale suspension cell culture production or high cell density bioreactor systems for mAb production in higher quantities. Selecting and designing the appropriate production scheme according to your specific needs facilitates your project success and budget savings.

Custom In Vitro & In Vivo Bulk Antibody Production Services

Bulk mAb production is a multi-step process. The first step is hybridoma development. Creative Biolabs offers hybridoma development services if there is no existing hybridoma available to the customer. Alternatively, an existing hybridoma could be shipped to Creative Biolabs via appropriate shipping procedures. Careful shipment ensures the safety and viability of the hybridoma cell.

If the hybridoma is cultured in the serum-containing medium, Hybridoma Suspension Domestication Service is available for customers and thus hybridoma could be cultured in a serum-free medium which provides great convenience for subsequent antibody purification. Creative Biolabs also offers Hybridoma Cell Line Optimization Services for maximum mAb production. Each service mentioned above can be provided separately or included in a customized project. Our antibody bulk production services include but are not limited to:

Hybridoma technology is a prevalent method for generating large quantities of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), particularly in the development of lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA) applications. This article outlines the technical process involved in hybridoma technology, which is divided into four key steps: The first step involves fusing the secretory lymphocyte from an Ab-producing cell with the myeloma cell, which has been immunized with the specific antigen (Ag). This fusion process is facilitated by the use of polyethylene glycol. Following the fusion, the hybridoma cells are screened to identify those that secrete the desired mAb. Once identified, a single hybridoma cell is isolated and maintained in culture through a process known as limit-dilution cloning. Finally, the cloned hybridoma is grown in a bioreactor to produce a concentrated solution of the mAb.
