Super™ Transbody Discovery Services

Creative Biolabs has accumulated extensive experience to offer intracellular antibody development services. With the unique expertise and a large panel of cutting-edge proprietary technologies in antibody development and engineering, we have established two platforms for developing antibodies against intracellular targets: Super™ Intrabody Development and Super™ Transbody Development.

Transbodies (or called cell-permeable antibodies) are antibodies or antibody fragments that can penetrate the cell membrane and be internalized into the target cells. Over the past two decades, there have been growing efforts to develop specific transbodies against intracellular targets. Compared to intrabodies that are expressed in the target cells, the conformational folding and the formation of disulfide bonds for transbodies can happen before they are being translocated into the target cells. In addition, transbodies do not require recombinant DNA technology, avoiding the permanent genetic changes in the target cells.

Due to the high demand but only limited capabilities in the field for intracellular antibody development, research professionals at Creative Biolabs have established the Super™ transbody development platform, to fill the gap in the field. Based on different project requirements, there are multiple formats of transbodies that we have developed through our Super™ transbody development platform, including full-length IgG, single chain variable fragment (scFv), antigen-binding fragment (Fab), single domain antibody (sdAb), variable new antigen receptor (V_NAR), bispecific antibody, etc. In addition, the transbodies can be derived from various animal species, including mouse, rat, rabbit, human, non-human primate (NHP), sheep, llama, camel, dog, and chicken.
