Synonyms: 5-(2-Aminoethylamino)-1-naphthalenesulfonic Acid Sodium Salt / Sodium N-(2-Aminoethyl)-5-naphthylamine-1-sulfonate / N-(2-Aminoethyl)-5-naphthylamine-1-sulfonic Acid Sodium Salt / 1,5-EDANS. It is light orange to yellow to green powder to crystal, emit blue fluorescence, can be used to label carboxyl groups. This product is light sensitive and moisture sensitive, and should be stored away from light and air.
