Description
Biotin-HPDP is a reversible biotinylation reagent. The pyridyl bisulfide group at the end of Biotin-HPDP reacts with the free sulfhydryl group to form a disulfide bond, which facilitates the biotinylation of the target protein. The disulfide bond can be cleaved with reducing agents such as dithiothreitol (DTT) to remove the biotin tag.
