Anti-Actinomycete Antibody Products

As a forward-looking researcher as well as a leading custom service provider in the field of antibody discovery, Creative Biolabs has won a good reputation among our worldwide customers for successfully accomplishing numerous challenging projects including the generation of anti-Actinomycete antibodies.

Introduction of Actinomycete

Actinomyces are prokaryotic microorganisms widely distributed in nature. Actinomycetes are non-acid-fast filamentous bacteria with long and thin hyphae without separation and branches, and the diameter is generally 0.5-0.8μm. Since actinomycetes reproduce by fission, it is difficult to cultivate them under laboratory conditions. It has been identified that the genus Actinomyces contains 35 species, the most common of which are Actinomyces clothesii, Actinomyces bovis, Actinomyces naesi, Actinomyces mucus, and Actinomyces dental caries. Glutamine synthetase sequencing analysis has been applied for phylogenetic analysis of the Actinomycetota.

As members of the normal flora, most actinomycetes live in the oral cavity, upper respiratory tract, digestive tract, and genitourinary tract of humans and animals. In some cases, actinomycetes may cause endogenous infections, with Actinomyces clothenii being the main pathogen and Actinomyces bovis causing disease in cattle and pigs. Actinomycetes in the soil contribute to the decomposition of organisms and the reabsorption of plants and are therefore economically important to humans. In biomedicine, actinomycetes can produce a variety of important antibiotics, including aminoglycosides, lactams, macrolides, and tetracyclines. In addition, actinomycetes can also be used to produce a variety of antibacterial drugs, antithrombotic drugs, immunomodulators, antineoplastic drugs, and enzyme inhibitors.

Anti-Actinomycete Abs at Creative Biolabs

Various antibodies can be isolated from the blood of patients with actinomycosis, but these antibodies are neither diagnostic nor therapeutic. Cellular immunity is the main immune mode of the body against actinomycete infection. For the diagnosis and treatment of actinomycete infection, monoclonal antibodies can act through a variety of different mechanisms. For efficient acquisition of anti-actinomycete antibodies, toxins and bacterial surface components are good targets. Based on our extensive experience and advanced platforms, now we can provide a wide range of antibodies against a selection of actinomycete species. Our antibodies are available in a wide selection of formats (sdAb, IgG, Fab, and scFv) and can be used for applications such as enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), western blotting (WB), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry (IHC), etc.

We have created an anti-Organism antibody products inventory to meet all your research needs.

Equipped with world-leading technology platforms and professional scientific staff, Creative Biolabs can provide a series of anti-actinomycete antibodies. If you are interested in our products, please do not hesitate to contact us for more details.
