Overview

Goiter is a type of goiter that usually presents as swelling of thyroid tissue and/or an increased number of cells. It is characterized by a smooth surface and soft texture of the thyroid gland, which can move up and down with the swallowing action. Goiter Human Thyroid Gland Total RNA, Donor 1606 is extracted from thyroid gland tissue of a single goiter human donor using a classical guanidine isothiocyanate-phenol: chloroform extraction method. RNA goes through rigorous quality control procedures to ensure the highest quality possible.
