Single Organ-on-a-Chip Model Introduction

The single organ-a-chip model of Creative Biolabs comprises advanced in vitro technology that enables experimentation with biological cells and tissues outside the body, which from a biochemical and physical point of view is achieved by containing them inside vessels conditioned to sustain a reasonable semblance of the in vivo environment.

Single Organ-on-a-chip Model at Creative Biolabs

The assumption for engineering single organ-on-a-chip model is that the proper function will follow the fitting form because the invention of a cell-matrix structure mimicking that in an indigenous organ will lead the cells to postulate a suitable function. In terms of hardware design, there emerge two kinds: (1) closed devices, with sealed channels and pump-driven flow; and (2) open devices that resemble well plates and are perfused by gravity-driven flow or use rocking platforms.

What We Provide?

Our lab specializes in biomimetic single organ-on-a-chip models, designed to replicate the physiological environment of organs. These models allow for precise regulation of essential parameters, such as concentration gradients, shear force, cell patterning, tissue boundaries, and tissue-organ interactions.
