Barrier Tissue On-a-Chip Model Introduction

Creative Biolabs specializes in the development of barrier tissue-on-a-chip models. Our models use microfluidic technology to mimic the structure and function of human barrier tissues in a controlled in vitro environment. Our research team with rich experience has developed a mature system to combine microfluidics with in silico modeling, enhancing the possibility for more accurate toxicity predictions.

Barrier Tissue on-a-chip Model at Creative Biolabs

The barrier tissue on-a-chip model in Creative Biolabs enables the real-time study of barriers in a more physiological manner. Unlike static culture inserts, our microfluidic system allows for exposure to fluid flow and shear stress, which are crucial for vascular endothelium research. Advantages of Our Barrier Tissue on-a-chip Model

Our microfluidic-based in vitro modeling offers significant advantages over traditional clinical testing methods. By enabling dynamic fluid flow, it promotes cell growth, differentiation, and polarization, resulting in more in vivo-like tissue behavior. Furthermore, the interconnected microfluidic chambers enable fluidic interaction and cell signaling, surpassing the limitations of static cultures and animal studies.

  • Mature technique of the transfer of elaborated standard operation procedures, developed for static cell permeation assays of pharmaceutical drugs.
  • Direct in-device seeding is transferable to the laboratory routine.
  • Compatible with reproducible procedures for organotypic cultivation.
  • Every side of the membrane is available for cell cultivation under dynamic conditions.
