Overview

Ischemic colitis is a disease where ischemic colitis leads to intestinal ischemia and damage from blocked blood vessels. It is usually caused by atherosclerosis or other vascular disease, resulting in reduced or interrupted blood flow to the intestine. Ischemic Colitis includes abdominal pain, diarrhea, blood in the stool and intestinal obstruction. Human Colon, Left Total RNA, Donor 2404 is extracted from normal colon, left tissue of a single ischemic colitis human donor using a classical guanidine isothiocyanate-phenol: chloroform extraction method. RNA goes through rigorous quality control procedures to ensure the highest quality possible.
