Human diabetes Type II cardiac primary fibroblasts are collected from the heart ventricles of the adult human donor. These cells play a key role in maintaining the extracellular matrix of the heart tissue and synthesizing growth factors and cytokines. In addition, they participate in scar formation and are suitable for studying such processes in vitro.
