Overview

Human diabetes Type I dermal lymphatic primary endothelial cells are derived from the dermis tissue of the juvenile foreskin and adult skin from a diabetes Type II donor. The cells have been characterized by the expression of CD31 and podoplanin. These cells are involved in pathological alterations of the lymphatic system and play an important role in studies on tumor lymphangiogenesis and tumor cell metastasis.
