Overview

Invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC) is a common malignant tumor in breast tissue. It is an invasive cancer, meaning that cancer cells are able to break through their original basement membrane, enter surrounding tissues, and even spread to other organs. This product provided by Creative Biolabs is isolated from the primary tumor and its adjacent normal tissue. The highly pure intact high molecular size DNA is extracted from single tissue and treated with DNase-free RNase to remove contaminant RNA. Studying the genetic differences between primary tumor and its adjacent normal tissue holds great promise for improving our understanding of cancer and developing more effective treatments.
