Creative Biolabs is a world-leading service provider of application-specific antibody development. Here, we introduce our in vitro diagnostic (IVD) antibody development and immunoassay development services targeting complement C4 marker. We are confident that our commitment to science and research will enable us to offer you the best products and services.
Complement C4: General Description
Complement component 4 (C4), in humans, is a protein involved in the intricate complement system that encoded by two closely linked genes (C4A and C4B) located within the major histocompatibility complex (MHC). C4, originating from the human leukocyte antigen (HLA) system, serves a number of critical functions in immunity, tolerance, and autoimmunity with the other numerous components. Meanwhile, it plays a crucial role in connecting the recognition pathways of the overall system instigated by antibody-antigen (Ab-Ag) complexes to the other effector proteins of the innate immune response. The deficiency of complete C4 in patients may exist in SLE and/or an increased susceptibility to infection.
Complement C4 with Sepsis
The components of the complement system include C3a, C4a, C5a, CH50, C3, C4, and C5. Related researches have carried out by measuring the activities (C3a, C4a, C5a) and concentrations (CH50, C3, C4, C5) of serum complement to evaluate the involvement of complement in sepsis or measuring at several points in time after the diagnosis of sepsis. The results show that complement is closely related to the exacerbation of the condition of septic patients. In addition, the measurement of complement activity plays a role in evaluating the severity of sepsis, which contributes to its function serving as indices of the severity of sepsis. In summary, monitoring and detection of the complement system may be useful for predicting the outcome of patients with sepsis.

IVD Antibody Development Services for Complement C4 Marker
Antibodies are core elements of antibody-based immunoassays for detecting or quantifying antigens of interest in different samples such as the serum, urine, tissue preparations, and so on. At Creative Biolabs, we offer a full range of antibody development, antigen & antibody conjugation, and IVD kit development services to clients across the globe. We develop antibodies that can be applied for different immunoassay formats, including ELISAs, lateral flow immunochromatographic assays, western blot, and flow cytometry.
Creative Biolabs has extensive experience and mature technology platforms in generating and developing IVD antibodies. For more detailed information, please feel free to contact us or directly send us an inquiry.
