3D Ex Vivo Human Bronchi Tissue Model Introduction

Creative Biolabs has proudly launched a full package of 3D ex vivo human tissue models, which including but not limited to 3D ex vivo human bronchi tissue model. With this innovative model and advanced platform, researchers across the world are able to better understand and study bronchial diseases, as well as to facilitate the development of new drugs and treatments.

Bronchi and Related Diseases

Bronchi are the main air passages that lead from the trachea to the lungs. The bronchi are lined with a specialized mucous membrane that produces mucus to trap foreign particles and protect the lungs from infection. The bronchi are also supported by cartilage and smooth muscle, which help regulate air flow in and out of the lungs.

There are several diseases that can affect the bronchi, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), bronchitis, and bronchiectasis. These diseases greatly danger the daily lives of the patients by causing chronic coughing, wheezing, and shortness of breath.
