Overview

The physiological structure of rats is more similar to that of humans, so the rat model can more accurately reflect the effects and side effects of drugs during drug development. Rat Universal Reference RNA is prepared from all tissues of 2 male and 2 female rats. Total RNA is extracted by the classical guanidine isothiocyanate-phenol chloroform extraction method, which can quickly isolate total RNA including microRNAs. RNA is treated with RNase-free DNase-1 to remove residual DNA.
