Seaweeds are biologically active substances with a variety of potential applications in cosmetics, food, and industry. Analyzing ash, elements, fatty acids, etc., in individual seaweeds plays a crucial role in assessing their application value. In this study, the composition and characterization of elements, microorganisms, fatty acids, etc., in four edible seaweeds were examined. The researchers found differences in the individual components and their contents in the seaweeds. However, they all had the potential to be used as alternative sources of bioactive compounds and elements to produce food products that were beneficial to humans. The present study provided a demonstration for us to detect and analyze the quality and application value of seaweeds.
